Erasmus Student Network (ESN) Belgium is the national student organisation uniting international exchange students, trainees, and local volunteers across 18 university sections in 12 Belgian cities.
Born in Ghent (1989)
In October 1989, 34 international exchange students met in Ghent, Belgium, to create the first international support network for Erasmus scholars—the founding root of ESN worldwide.
European Seat (Brussels)
ESN Belgium is registered as a non-profit association (vzw) under Belgian law, headquartered in Brussels alongside European Union institutions and ESN International.

Operating across Flanders, Brussels, and Wallonia, our student volunteers organize orientation weeks, cultural trips, language exchanges, social impact causes, and sports.
